Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als First Line Compliance Expert ondersteunt u de Business- en Operations-teams bij alle compliance-gerelateerde zaken en draagt u bij aan de voortdurende versterking van het eerstelijns controlekader.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:

  • Fungeren als het eerste aanspreekpunt en expert voor compliance-zaken binnen de activiteiten van Individuele Levensverzekeringen en Groepslevensverzekeringen (bijv. AML/CFT, KYC, FATCA/CRS, Sancties, GDPR, Fraudepreventie en gerelateerde regelgeving).
  • Fungeren als de expert voor de vereisten van de Richtlijn Verzekeringsdistributie (IDD), het uitvoeren van distributietoezichtactiviteiten en het beoordelen van de compliance van het distributienetwerk ten opzichte van de wettelijke verwachtingen.
  • Praktisch advies en begeleiding bieden aan managers en medewerkers om de juiste interpretatie en toepassing van wettelijke vereisten te waarborgen.
  • Fungeren als de belangrijkste interface tussen Operations, Compliance en Risk-functies om afstemming te waarborgen over wettelijke verwachtingen, prioriteiten en herstelacties.
  • Onafhankelijk beoordelen en uitdagen van complexe, gevoelige of risicovolle dossiers, het leveren van deskundige compliance-beoordelingen en het uitvoeren van vierogencontroles waar nodig.
  • Ontwerpen, uitvoeren en documenteren van eerstelijnscontroles, compliance-reviews, monitoringactiviteiten en kwaliteitsborgingsbeoordelingen, terwijl de effectiviteit, consistentie en wettelijke adequaatheid ervan worden gewaarborgd.
  • Identificeren van controlezwaktes, terugkerende problemen en operationele risico's, en het aansturen van corrigerende en preventieve acties.
  • Vertalen van regelgevende ontwikkelingen, interne beleidslijnen en Compliance-aanbevelingen naar pragmatische operationele processen en het ondersteunen van de implementatie ervan.
  • Coördineren en faciliteren van het Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) proces in samenwerking met het operationeel management.
  • Monitoren, analyseren en rapporteren van compliance-indicatoren, incidenten, controleresultaten en actieplannen aan het management en belangrijke stakeholders.
  • Ondersteunen van audits, regelgevende verzoeken, rapportageactiviteiten en het handhaven van adequate documentatie om voortdurende regelgevende paraatheid te waarborgen.
  • Leveren van compliance-trainingen en bewustmakingsinitiatieven, terwijl een sterke risico- en compliancecultuur binnen Operations wordt bevorderd.
  • Aansturen van continue verbetering, operationele excellentie en compliance due diligence-activiteiten, terwijl wordt bijgedragen aan servicekwaliteit, bedrijfsprestaties en klanttevredenheid.
