The posting

Onze hands-on Automation & Electrical Engineer heeft bij voorkeur volgend profiel:

  • Behaalde een relevante ingenieur opleiding (Msc/Bsc in Automation; Electrical Engineering Technology ...) of beschikt over gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Is vertrouwd met industriële automatisering, plc-programmatie (o.a. Phoenix Contact), of kan zich snel vertrouwd maken met deze technologiën.
  • Is vertrouwd met industriële electrical engineering: kastenbouw, stuurkringen, field kablering, ... elektrisch, pneumatisch, foutopsporing
  • Ervaring in de industriële biotechnologie of een aanverwante omgeving is een pluspunt maar geen vereiste.

Verder ben je gedreven en gebeten om projecten te realiseren. Je werkt nauwgezet en pragmatisch en streeft steeds naar verbetering. Je houdt van afwisseling en uitdagingen. Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband werken.

Niemand is perfect en er is bij de Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant zeker ruimte om ‘al doende’ te leren! Je kan het volledige lijstje hierboven niet afvinken, maar je bent flexibel, leergierig en je staat open voor een training op maat? Je hebt geen angst voor uitdagingen en er stroomt een gezonde dosis pioniersbloed door je aderen? Neem dan zeker contact op!

Als hands-on Automation & Electrical Engineer in onze pilootfabriek, kies je voor een “out-of-the-ordinary” job in een bijzondere werkomgeving die ten dienste staat van de snel groeiende bio-gebaseerde economie. De collega’s van onze technische dienst staan klaar om jou met open armen op te nemen in hun team! Zij (en dus ook jij!) houden onze bijzondere pilootfabriek operationeel en zorgen voor de vele dagdagelijkse technische aanpassingen nodig om bestaande apparatuur draaiende te houden en nieuwe apparatuur in dienst te brengen.

Je werkt nauw samen met je onze uiterst capabele en sympathieke Automation & Electrical Engineers en staat met hen onder andere in voor de volgende taken:

  • Het ontwikkelen van software om onze processen en utilities optimaal te sturen.
  • Het programmeren van nieuwe machines en de integratie hiervan met de infrastructuur voor process-sturing en logging
  • Het elektrisch design (e-schema's, kastenbouw, sensoren, kleppen ...), het opvolgen en ondersteunen van elektrische installatie werken alsook de nodige foutopsporing, correcties en testen bij opstart.
  • Het up to date houden nauwgezet documenteren van deze installaties en aanpassingen

Voor al deze taken heb je veel vrijheid om de architectuur en manier van werken te definiëren, in samenspraak met de gebruikers van de applicaties/toestellen.

Als echte teamspeler ondersteun je ook onze techniekers, proces- en onderhoudsmedewerkers en diverse lopende projecten als het aankomt op elektrische-, automatisatie-, en sturingsnoden. Dit doe je ook en vooral ‘in the field’ maw niet enkel vanop je bureau maar ook in de laboratoria en de pilootfabriek. Door de grote diversiteit aan projecten, blijf je ver weg van alle routine en krijg je steeds opnieuw de kans om nieuwe inzichten en ervaring te verwerven. Een gezonde dosis leergierigheid is dan ook aan te raden!
