Als Automation Engineer speel je een sleutelrol in het verder uitbouwen en optimaliseren van sterk geautomatiseerde productieomgevingen binnen de automotive sector. Je vormt de brug tussen operationele processen en automatisatieleveranciers en vertaalt technologie naar performante, stabiele en betrouwbare productie.

Projecten en automatisatie * Treed op als technisch adviseur binnen projectteams rond automatisatie. * Stel technische specificaties op voor leveranciers en volg de uitvoering ervan op. * Valideer installaties en neem ze af volgens safety- en functionele vereisten. * Pas SCADA-systemen aan volgens operationele noden.

Ondersteuning en optimalisatie * Beheer en optimaliseer industriële netwerken en communicatie. * Ondersteun maintenance bij technische automatisatievraagstukken. * Analyseer processen en initieer verbeterprojecten met een hoge automatisatiegraad. * Draag actief bij aan de implementatie van Industrie 4.0-toepassingen.

Wat maakt deze rol uniek? * Werk in een hightech productieomgeving met een hoge automatisatiegraad. * Speel een centrale rol in de transitie naar Industrie 4.0. * Combineer automatisatieprojecten met hands-on betrokkenheid op de werkvloer. * Krijg de ruimte om processen en technologie actief mee vorm te geven.

* Je beschikt over een master in Engineering of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring. * Je hebt een sterke interesse in automatisatie en Industrie 4.0. * Je hebt ervaring met of kennis van PLC-programmatie en SCADA, bij voorkeur Siemens TIA en WinCC. * Je bent vertrouwd met industriële netwerken en protocollen zoals OPC-UA en Profinet. * Je hebt kennis van data-analyse en visualisatie met onder meer SSRS en Power BI. * Ervaring met visiesystemen, robotica of E-plan is een plus. * Je werkt analytisch en probleemoplossend en hebt een pragmatische mindset. * Je bent proactief, communicatief en samenwerkingsgericht. * Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
