Onze klant is een toonaangevende speler in industriële automatisering en biedt innovatieve oplossingen voor de fabriek van de toekomst. We zoeken versterking voor hun Software Team binnen de Business Unit Automation, dat zich richt op de integratie van software in industriële omgevingen.

Als Automation Engineer ben jij een sleutelfiguur in de realisatie van geavanceerde automatiseringsoplossingen. Je werkt zelfstandig of in teamverband aan de ontwikkeling, programmatie en oplevering van industriële softwaretoepassingen, en zorgt voor de nodige nazorg en documentatie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:

  • Softwareontwikkeling en standaardisatie: Je draagt bij aan de interne softwareontwikkeling en standaardisering, van de programmatie tot de oplevering van de projecten.
  • Technische overleg: Je overlegt met je team, leveranciers of klanten over de specificaties en het ontwerp van de systemen.
  • Programmatie van PLC, HMI en SCADA: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de programmatie van diverse industriële systemen, afgestemd op de projectvereisten.
  • Specialisatie: Afhankelijk van jouw kennis en interesse werk je binnen één van de volgende industriële domeinen: procesautomatisering, discrete/motion control, robotica/AMR (Automated Mobile Robots) of custom machinebouw.
  • Groei en ontwikkeling: Na verloop van tijd krijg je de kans om door te groeien naar een senior functie of teamlead, waarbij je verantwoordelijk wordt voor het aansteken en leiden van een software team of project.
  • Locatie en reizen: Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit het kantoor in Merelbeke. Gedurende de opstartfase van projecten kan je ook op locatie bij klanten werken, en af en toe kan er een kort verblijf in het buitenland vereist zijn.

We zoeken een gedreven en proactieve Automation Engineer met de volgende kwalificaties:

  • Opleiding: Je hebt een master- of bachelordiploma in Industriële Wetenschappen Automatisering, Elektrotechniek of Elektromechanica.
  • Ervaring: Je hebt 3-5 jaar ervaring in softwareontwikkeling, specifiek met PLC’s en SCADA-systemen.
  • Kwaliteiten: Je bent analytisch, denkt diepgaand na en laat niets aan het toeval over. Je hebt oog voor detail en stelt kritische vragen om ervoor te zorgen dat het systeem perfect functioneert.
  • Werkaanpak: Je werkt pragmatisch en efficiënt zonder concessies te doen aan de kwaliteit van je werk.
  • Grafisch inzicht: Het beschikken over grafisch inzicht is een pluspunt.
  • Taalvaardigheid: Je kunt je vlot uitdrukken in het Nederlands, en je hebt een goede beheersing van Engels. Kennis van Frans is een extra voordeel.
  • Rijbewijs: Je beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs B.
