The posting

Om de betrouwbaarheid en continuïteit van onze installaties verder te versterken, zijn wij op zoek naar een Automation Engineer. Je rapporteert aan de Capital Manager en werkt nauw samen met productie, onderhoud, engineering en andere ondersteunende afdelingen.

Verantwoordelijkheid

Als Automation Engineer ben je voor het betrouwbaar, veilig en performant functioneren van de automatisatie- en procescontrolesystemen op de productiesite Brugge.

Hij/zij zorgt voor continue verbetering, standaardisatie en ondersteuning van zowel productie- als hulpprocessen, met bijzondere aandacht voor veiligheid, kwaliteit en food/feed safety.

  • Ontwerpen, implementeren en onderhouden van automatiseringsoplossingen voor productie- en utilities-processen, zowel via kleine wijzigingsopdrachten als via projecten, binnen afgesproken scope, timing, kwaliteit en budget.
  • Oplossen van dagelijkse automatisatie- en procescontroleproblemen en deelnemen aan een roterend wachtdienstsysteem (nachten en weekends).
  • Uitvoeren en begeleiden van functionele analyses in samenwerking met project engineers en area coordinators.
  • Uitvoeren, leiden en coördineren van projectopstarten (FAT, IO-testen, SAT), inclusief overdracht naar de operationele organisatie na succesvolle validatie.
  • Instaan voor het onderhoud, beheer en optimalisatie van het Aveva PI-systeem en andere automatisatieplatformen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan een geëngageerde samenwerking binnen de automation groep, met focus op het toepassen en verbeteren van site-standaarden en programmeerprincipes.
  • Continu verbeteren van de standaardisatie van automatisatiewerkzaamheden.
  • Up-to-date houden van automatisatiedocumentatie, waaronder functionele beschrijvingen, handleidingen en ISO-procedures.
  • Verstrekken en organiseren van automatisatie-trainingen voor productiepersoneel (procesoperatoren, area coordinators, …).
  • Fungeren als ondersteunende en back-up rol voor plant IT/OT-infrastructuur, waaronder servers, workstations, thin clients, netwerken en virtuele omgevingen.
  • Ondersteunen bij software-updates van automatisatiesystemen (o.a. DeltaV, Aveva PI, PLC’s) en bij kritische hardwarevernieuwingen (servers, controllers, PLC’s, …).
  • Mee waken over de beschikbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en performantie van de OT-omgeving in functie van de productie. Bijdragen aan een hoogwaardige, veilige en (feed) food-safe productieomgeving, met aandacht voor GMP, procesveiligheid, opleidingen en audits (intern en extern).
  • Actief opvolgen en toepassen van automation safety engineering principes, zoals alarmbeheer, safety interlocks en beveiligingen.
  • Master Industriële Wetenschappen (Elektromechanica) of Master in de Ingenieurswetenschappen (Elektromechanica).
  • 2 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring in automatisatie, procescontrole of een gelijkaardige industriële omgeving.
  • Grondige kennis van procesautomatisatie en DCS-systemen; ervaring met DeltaV en batch S88 is een sterke troef.
  • Kennis van PLC-systemen (Siemens S7) binnen een productieomgeving is een plus.
  • Inzicht in hardware-architectuur en systeemwijzigingen.
  • Kennis van IT/OT (hardware, besturingssystemen, netwerken, virtualisatie) is een meerwaarde.
  • Automatisatie: Delta V, PLC – gestuurde apparatuur, ...
  • IT: SAP (ERP systeem), Office-365 toepassingen, Traksys, ...
  • Inzicht in procesregelstrategieën
  • Talen: kennis Nederlands en Engels vloeiend.
