In deze functie kom je terecht in een internationale groep met een volledig eigen engineering- en productieproces. Je werkt mee aan maatwerkoplossingen voor industriële automatisering, met aandacht voor efficiëntie en kwaliteit. Dankzij de vlakke bedrijfscultuur, focus op talentontwikkeling en innovatieve projecten krijg je als Automation Engineer de ruimte om je technische kennis verder uit te bouwen.

  • Analyseert aangeboden offertes om de technische scope en automatiseringsbehoeften scherp te stellen.
  • Begeleidt het opstellen van elektrische schema's en het bijhorende detectieplan in samenwerking met collega's.
  • Neemt actief deel aan kick-off vergaderingen met alle betrokken partijen om verwachtingen en planning te verduidelijken.
  • Overlegt met mechanische projectingenieurs over het systeemdossier, inclusief functionele werking, aandrijvingen, sensoren en bekabeling.
  • Deelt je inzichten tijdens lay-out controlevergaderingen en toetst de technische haalbaarheid af.
  • Werkt samen met de klant een duidelijke functionele analyse uit als basis voor het PLC-programma.
  • Stelt rapportages op over risicopunten en aandachtspunten zodat projecten veilig en beheerst verlopen.
  • Ontwikkelt het PLC-programma in functie van de installatie en de vereisten van de klant.
  • Voert simulaties uit om het PLC-programma te testen en bij te sturen vóór inbedrijfstelling.
  • Bereidt klantendocumentatie, handleidingen en certificaten voor zodat de installatie correct kan worden gebruikt en onderhouden.
  • Begeleidt klanten bij inbedrijfname en testprocedures van geautomatiseerde installaties.
  • Controleert de werking van installaties en apparatuur en stuurt waar nodig de configuratie bij.
  • Werkt in een voltijds dagregime binnen een technisch team met nauwe samenwerking tussen verschillende engineeringdisciplines.
  • Levert bijdragen aan industriële automatiseringsprojecten op diverse locaties, met internationale inzet waar projecten dit vereisen.
  • Blijft op de hoogte van relevante automatiseringstechnologieën zoals PLC, elektromechanica en elektrotechniek.
  • Brengt een hoger diploma mee in automatisering, elektriciteit of elektronica.
  • Beschikt over minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare technologische of industriële omgeving.
  • Heeft praktische ervaring met Siemens TIA Portal voor PLC-programmering.
  • Kennis van Simatic Manager of Rockwell RSLogix 5000 is een pluspunt.
  • Kan risico's herkennen en werkt volgens VCA-vol principes.
  • Spreekt Nederlands, Frans en/of Engels op een goed niveau; Duits is een extra troef.
