The posting

Als Automation Engineer in Groningen werk je binnen de industriële automatisering aan besturingen voor machines en procesinstallaties. Je vertaalt functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke PLC-software en bedienbare HMI-schermen. Daarbij kijk je verder dan de code: ook de samenhang tussen sensoren, aandrijvingen, beveiligingen en communicatie bepaalt of een installatie betrouwbaar draait. Je combineert softwareontwikkeling met praktisch inzicht in elektrotechniek en het gedrag van machines. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeren af met testen, storingsanalyse en technische afstemming. Je werkt samen met elektrotechnici, monteurs en andere engineers om besturingsfuncties goed te laten aansluiten op de installatie. Tijdens het testen controleer je signalen, doorloop je bedrijfsscenario’s en leg je wijzigingen vast. Zo verdiep je je kennis van PLC-platformen, industriële netwerken en gestructureerd softwareontwerp, terwijl je werkt aan onderhoudbare automatiseringsoplossingen. Functie-inhoud - Functionele wensen vertalen naar besturingslogica en een duidelijke softwarestructuur - PLC-software en HMI-schermen ontwikkelen, testen en aanpassen - Sensoren, aandrijvingen en I/O-signalen controleren tijdens inbedrijfstelling - Communicatieproblemen en storingen in besturingen systematisch analyseren - Technische keuzes afstemmen met elektrotechnici, monteurs en engineers - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en bedieningsfuncties documenteren Functie-eisen - Mbo- of hbo-werk- en -denkniveau in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Ervaring met PLC-programmering, bijvoorbeeld in Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT of Rockwell Studio 5000 - Kennis van HMI-ontwikkeling en de koppeling tussen besturing en bediening - Inzicht in industriële communicatie, zoals PROFINET, EtherNet/IP of Modbus TCP - Elektrotechnische schema’s kunnen lezen en storingen gestructureerd onderzoeken - Zelfstandig technische vraagstukken oppakken en helder afstemmen me.
