In regio Gent kom je terecht bij een sterke speler binnen industriële automatisatie, actief in uiteenlopende sectoren zoals machinebouw, robotics en productieomgevingen. Als onderdeel van een grotere technologiegroep combineert deze organisatie stabiliteit met een sterke focus op technische expertise en groei.

Je werkt in een team waar kennisdeling centraal staat en waar je betrokken bent bij projecten van concept tot opstart bij de klant.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Automation Engineer programmeer je PLC’s, drives, HMI- en SCADA-systemen voor uiteenlopende automatisatieprojecten
  • Daarnaast analyseer je samen met klanten en collega’s de technische specificaties en werk je deze uit naar functionele oplossingen
  • Verder speel je een sleutelrol tijdens de opstart en commissioning van machines en installaties bij klanten
  • Ook werk je mee aan interne softwareontwikkeling en standaardisatie van systemen
  • Tot slot volg je technologische evoluties op en pas je deze toe binnen projecten om performantie en betrouwbaarheid te verhogen
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master behaald in automatisatie, elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Minstens 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring met PLC, motion control en industriële automatisatie
  • Vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en goede kennis van Engels, met een hands-on en analytische mindset
