The posting

Bij een technische groothandel met een eigen engineeringafdeling in Varsseveld werk je aan besturingsoplossingen voor machines in de agrarische en aanverwante sectoren. Als Automation Engineer combineer je PLC-programmering met machineveiligheid en compliance. Je onderzoekt hoe systemen reageren op sensoruitval, kabelbreuk en onverwachte situaties. Die analyses vertaal je naar technische en softwarematige beveiligingen, heldere documentatie en aantoonbaar veilige machinefuncties. Je werkt dagelijks samen met Project Engineering, Service & Systems en monteurs in de werkplaats. Je stemt ontwerpen af, ondersteunt het programmeren van PLC's, controllers en displays en test of oplossingen in de praktijk werken. In de beginfase ligt een belangrijk deel van je werk bij softwareontwikkeling. Daarna groeit het aandeel machineveiligheid en compliance. Zo verdiep je je vakkennis terwijl je betrokken blijft bij het traject van ontwerp tot inbedrijfstelling. Functie-inhoud - Ondersteunen bij het ontwerpen en implementeren van besturingsoplossingen voor machines - Analyseren van veiligheidsrisico's bij sensoruitval, kabelbreuk en onverwacht systeemgedrag - Uitwerken van technische en softwarematige beveiligingen om risico's te beperken - Vastleggen van risicoanalyses, restrisico's en technische onderbouwingen - Meewerken aan softwareontwikkeling voor PLC's, controllers en displays - Samen met monteurs machines en systemen testen op werking en veiligheid - Afstemmen van oplossingen met engineering, service en de werkplaats Functie-eisen - Hbo-werk- en -denkniveau, bij voorkeur in Elektrotechniek, Industriële Automatisering of Mechatronica - Kennis van elektrotechnische installaties en vaardigheid in het lezen van elektrische schema's - Affiniteit met PLC-programmering en softwareontwikkeling - Interesse in machineveiligheid, regelgeving en technische documentatie - Sterk technisch inzicht en een analytische, nauwkeurige werkwijze - Heldere communicatie en een praktische instell.
