Als Automation Engineer werk je aan de veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte werking van een hoog geautomatiseerde chemische productieomgeving in Gouda. Bij een internationale producent van voedingsingrediënten ontwerp, verbeter en onderhoud je binnen Maintenance & Reliability de procesbesturing. Je werkt samen met operations, maintenance, engineering en IT aan modificaties en investeringsprojecten. Functie-inhoud - Je beoordeelt de technische haalbaarheid, risico’s, kosten en opbrengsten van automatiseringsoplossingen. - Je vertaalt wijzigingsaanvragen en MOC’s naar software- en hardwareontwerpen en programmeert, test en realiseert de inbedrijfstelling. - Je stemt systeemmogelijkheden af met leveranciers, beoordeelt offertes en ondersteunt componentkeuzes en investeringsprojecten. - Je analyseert storingen en incidenten, lost middelmatig complexe problemen zelfstandig op en draait consignatiediensten. - Je monitort systeemprestaties en optimaliseert automatiseringssoftware op basis van trend- en oorzaakanalyses. - Je actualiseert technische en gebruikersdocumentatie en verzorgt de overdracht naar operations. - Je werkt met centrale IT aan cybersecurity, systeemupdates en compliance van procescomputers. Functie-eisen - Je hebt een bachelor in Elektrotechniek, Instrumentatie, Automatisering of een vergelijkbare technische richting, of gelijkwaardige ervaring. - Je hebt relevante ervaring met industriële procesautomatisering of binnen een productieomgeving. - Je kent automatiseringssoftware, hardware en procesbesturingssystemen. - Je werkt veiligheids- en kwaliteitsbewust en kent de geldende wet- en regelgeving. - Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, ook met interne stakeholders en externe leveranciers. - Je analyseert technische problemen en kunt zelfstandig oplossingen realiseren. - Ervaring in de chemische of sterk geautomatiseerde procesindustrie, kennis van maintenance en reliability en ervaring met multidisciplinaire projectteams zijn pluspunten.
