Als Automation Engineer R&D ontwikkel je automatiserings- en systeemintegratieoplossingen voor moderne marineschepen bij een marinescheepsbouwer in Vlissingen of Schiedam. Je werkt aan digital twins, complexe control systems en beslissingsondersteunende systemen, van onderzoek tot technische evaluatie en integratie. Functie-inhoud - Ontwerpen en implementeren van automatiseringsoplossingen voor marinevaartuigen - Onderzoek uitvoeren en bijdragen aan internationale R&D-projecten - Geïntegreerde mission management systemen specificeren, evalueren en testen - Bestaande hardware en software integreren en compatibiliteitsproblemen oplossen - Nieuwe automatiseringstechnologieën technisch beoordelen - Projectteams adviseren over systeemarchitectuur en integratie en salesvoorstellen technisch ondersteunen - Modulaire en gestandaardiseerde oplossingen realiseren Functie-eisen - Je hebt een bachelor of master in bijvoorbeeld elektrotechniek, automatisering of mechatronica - Je hebt kennis van scheepsautomatisering en systeemintegratie en ervaring met GUI-ontwikkeling en programmeren - Je bent bekend met Scrum en IT-architectuur aan boord, waaronder cloud en virtualisatie, en volgt ontwikkelingen zoals IoT - Je analyseert technische problemen, werkt praktisch en zelfstandig en zoekt samenwerking met je team - Je communiceert klantgericht en beheerst het Engels goed; Nederlands is een pre - Je beschikt over EU-burgerschap en een permanente EU-werkvergunning - Je bent bereid een veiligheidsscreening te doorlopen voor defensiegerelateerde projecten Aanbod - Een competitief salarispakket met goede secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden - Werken aan internationale R&D-projecten voor marineschepen - Doorgroeimogelijkheden en aandacht voor professionele ontwikkeling - Ruimte voor onderzoek en ontwikkeling van nieuwe automatiseringstechnologieën - Sociale activiteiten, sport en teambuilding
