In de regio van Waregem zoekt een internationaal actief technologiebedrijf een Automation Project Engineer voor de uitwerking en realisatie van automatiseringsprojecten. De organisatie ontwikkelt automatiserings- en technische totaaloplossingen voor onder meer de metaal-, voedings- en logistieke sector. Vanuit de Belgische vestiging werkt de Automation Engineer mee aan installaties die bestemd zijn voor klanten over de hele wereld.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als Automation Project Engineer vertaal je de behoeften van de klant naar een functionele analyse en werk je het PLC-programma uit volgens de vereisten van de installatie
  • Vanaf de kick-off neem je een actieve rol op in het project en stem je met mechanische projectingenieurs af over aandrijvingen, sensoren, bekabeling en functionele werking
  • De uitwerking van elektrische schema’s en detectieplannen volg je nauwgezet op, waarbij je ook offertes en lay-outs kritisch analyseert
  • Via gerichte simulaties test je de PLC-programmatie en breng je mogelijke risico’s en technische aandachtspunten tijdig in kaart
  • Ook de voorbereiding van klantendocumentatie, handleidingen en certificaten behoort tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid binnen projecten in België en het buitenland
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in automatisering, elektriciteit of elektronica
  • Minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een soortgelijke sector geeft je de nodige technische basis voor deze functie
  • Naast sterke analytische en communicatieve vaardigheden spreek je Nederlands, Frans en/of Engels en ben je bereid om internationaal te reizen voor projecten
