Voor een internationale industriële speler binnen metaalverwerking, recyclage en materiaaltechnologie in het zuiden van Antwerpen zoek ik een Automation Project Lead.

Binnen het Technology-team wordt momenteel een nieuw automation team uitgebouwd dat de komende jaren een belangrijke rol zal spelen in de optimalisatie en automatisering van processen op de site. Als Automation Project Lead krijg je de kans om automatiseringsinitiatieven van concept tot implementatievoorbereiding vorm te geven.

Verantwoordelijkheden als Automation Project Lead

In deze rol neem je de leiding over automatiseringsprojecten met een focus op de conceptfase. Je verdiept je in productieprocessen, brengt uitdagingen en opportuniteiten in kaart en vertaalt deze naar concrete automatiseringsoplossingen. Deze zal je in een business case gieten. Hierbij werk je nauw samen met stakeholders uit productie, maintenance, IT, engineering, veiligheid en milieu.

Je verantwoordelijkheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Analyseren en begrijpen van operationele processen op de werkvloer.
  • Identificeren van automatiseringsopportuniteiten en kritisch evalueren van bestaande werkwijzen.
  • Toepassen van lean-denken en procesoptimalisatie binnen productieomgevingen.
  • Vertalen van operationele behoeften naar functionele en technische specificaties.
  • Uitwerken van automatiseringsconcepten.
  • Evalueren van mogelijke technologieën en leveranciers voor automatiseringsprojecten.
  • Opstellen van technische documentatie, conceptbeschrijvingen en projectdefinities.
  • Opbouwen van business cases en investeringsvoorstellen.
  • Afstemmen met interne stakeholders zoals productie, maintenance, IT, engineering, HSE, legal en procurement.
  • Identificeren en beheren van projectrisico's, afhankelijkheden en prioriteiten.
  • Voorbereiden van projecten voor uitvoering en overdracht naar het engineeringteam.
  • Ondersteunen van de implementatiefase als technische sparring partner en inhoudelijk expert.

Jouw profiel

We zoeken een analytisch en communicatief sterk automation-profiel dat technische kennis weet te combineren met projectmanagement en stakeholdermanagement.

Je beschikt over:

  • Een masterdiploma in Engineering of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Ervaring met het leiden van automatiserings- of engineeringprojecten van conceptfase tot overdracht.
  • Een brede kennis van industriële automatiseringssystemen.
  • Een vloeiende kennis van het Engels. Nederlands is een sterke plus.
