Core responsibilities - Inspect vehicles (on-site and/or via digital intake) to identify damage cause, extent, and repair feasibility. - Create accurate damage reports, photos, and documentation for claims and repair decisions. - Calculate repair costs, labor hours, parts, and depreciation according to applicable standards and policies. - Advise customers and stakeholders on repair options, safety, and timelines; manage expectations professionally. - Coordinate with body shops, insurers, leasing companies, and other parties to align approvals and next steps. - Ensure compliance with internal procedures, legal requirements, and quality guidelines. - Monitor progress, handle questions or disputes, and support resolution with evidence-based conclusions. Required skills and qualifications - Proven experience in automotive damage assessment, claims handling, or vehicle repair estimating. - Strong knowledge of bodywork, paint processes, repair methods, and cost calculation. - Ability to write structured reports and maintain accurate case files. - Customer-focused communication and stakeholder management. - Detail-oriented, independent, and able to prioritize multiple cases. - Comfortable with digital tools for estimating, case management, and photo documentation.
