Jouw rol en verantwoordelijkheden:

De geriatrie onderscheidt zich van andere afdelingen door de multipathologie van de patiënt en een multidisciplinaire zorg met specifieke aandacht voor de mens achter de patiënt. Deze afdeling staat in voor diagnose, behandeling en opvolging van patiënten met acute ouderdomsgebonden pathologie vanaf 75 jaar. Tijdens de opname streven we ernaar de functionele toestand van de patiënt maximaal te verbeteren zodat terugkeer naar de vertrouwde omgeving mogelijk wordt.

  • Als verpleegkundige in de vaste nachtdienst zorg je voor een professionele en integrale zorgverlening aan de patiënten van de dienst Geriatrie 1
  • Je dient de nodige medicatie toe volgens het medicatieschema
  • Je ondersteunt, informeert, vangt de patiënt op
  • Je zorgt voor de nodige administratie en registratie in het patiëntendossier
  • Je streeft naar een goede samenwerking met alle medewerkers op de afdeling en in ziekenhuis op basis van wederzijds respect, vertrouwen en loyaliteit
  • Je hebt een diploma Verpleegkunde (bachelor verpleegkunde - VVAZ OF basisverpleegkundige - HBO5)
  • Je hebt een bijzondere affiniteit met de vermelde discipline (geriatrie)
  • Je werkt nauwgezet en hecht veel belang aan de kwaliteit van je zorg
  • Je bent sterk begaan met patiëntveiligheid
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Je bent energiek, enthousiast en gemotiveerd
  • Je kan zowel autonoom werken als in teamverband
  • Je bent een nachtraaf die graag in de vaste nachtdienst werkt
