Wat ga je doen?

Als basisverpleegkundige word jij een onmisbare schakel in het zorgteam.

Je werkt nauw samen in het nursingteam (Verpleegkundigen Verantwoordelijk voor Algemene Zorgen, basisverpleegkundigen, zorgkundigen en logistieke zorgmedewerkers) om onze revalidanten de best mogelijke kwaliteitsvolle & veilige zorg te geven.

Jouw focus:

  • Directe zorg aan revalidanten
  • Observeren & opvolgen van hun algemene toestand
  • Zorginterventies correct en kwaliteitsvol uitvoeren

Je werkt zelfstandig in minder complexe situaties en bij complexere zorg sta je er nooit alleen voor: je kan rekenen op de ondersteuning van de VVAZ en je team.

Wie zoeken wij?

Je bent iemand die:

  • Een diploma basisverpleegkunde op zak heeft of weldra afstudeert
  • Interesse heeft in revalidatiezorg
  • Warm, patiëntgericht, geduldig en empathisch is
  • Graag samenwerkt, maar ook zelfstandig zijn/ haar weg vindt
  • Energie krijgt van een dynamische, variabele werkdag
  • Leergierig is en zichzelf wil blijven ontwikkelen
  • Goed georganiseerd te werk gaat en oog heeft voor detail
  • Actief meedenkt en communiceert met de VVAZ, arts en zorgteam

Onze zorgeenheden

Op D100 verblijven revalidanten die – na een Niet-Aangeboren Hersenletsel (NAH) – hetzij in een minimaal responsieve toestand, hetzij in een desoriëntatiefase zijn. Binnen het revalidatielandschap zijn we hierin bijzonder.

Op D200 richten we ons op zowel patiënten met locomotorische als cardio-pulmonaire aandoeningen. Ook revalidanten binnen onze Conventie AOT- NMRC ( Ademhalingsondersteuning Thuis en Neuromusculaire Revalidatie) komen hier jaarlijks voor een opname in kader van oppuntstellingen, educatie, wissel PEG-sonde, canule, ….

D300 is een gespecialiseerde afdeling voor patiënten na een niet-aangeboren hersenletsel (NAH) (resocialisatiefase) en neurogeriatrische revalidanten. Tot de resocialisatie behoren revalidanten die georiënteerd zijn, maar met nog cognitieve, emotionele en gedragsmatige problemen in combinatie met sensori-motorische stoornissen, visuele problemen en communicatiemoeilijkheden. Neurogeriatrische patiënten zijn NAH-patiënten ouder dan 70 jaar met veelal comorbiditeit en polymedicatie. De groep is divers van zwaar zorgbehoevend, verward tot zelfstandig en georiënteerd.

Op dienst D400 verblijven revalidanten die een interdisciplinaire aanpak nodig hebben na een ischemisch CVA. Daarnaast verblijven er revalidanten met bewegingsstoornissen, voornamelijk met de ziekte van Parkinson. Een derde groep revalidanten kent, bovenop een reeds langer bestaande neurologische problematiek (NAH en/of bewegingsstoornis) een locomotorisch probleem waarvoor revalidatie vereist is.

Zorgeenheid D500 is een gespecialiseerde kinderafdeling. We bieden 8 revalidatietrajecten aan: ontwikkelingsstoornissen bij kinderen jonger en ouder dan 2 jaar (o.a. prematuur geboren baby’s na een opname op neonatologie), cerebrale parese, neuromusculaire aandoeningen, niet-aangeboren hersenletsels & polytrauma, verworven perifere zenuwletsels, neuro-oncologie en autismespectrumstoornissen.

Naast de verschillende zorgeenheden beschikken wij ook over een mobiele equipe, waarin verpleeg -en zorgkundigen flexibel ingezet kunnen worden op de verschillende zorgeenheden. Variatie en afwisseling van zorgtaken ten top!
