The posting

Als Basisverpleegkundige sta je in voor het verlenen van kwaliteitsvolle verpleegkundige zorg aan bewoners van het woonzorgcentrum. Je handelt binnen jouw wettelijk bevoegdheidskader en werkt autonoom in minder complexe zorgsituaties. Bij complexere zorg stem je af met de verpleegkundige verantwoordelijk voor algemene zorg (VVAZ) en/of de behandelende arts.

Concreet houdt dit onder meer in:

  • Uitvoeren van verpleegkundige zorg en handelingen binnen jouw bevoegdheden;
  • Voorbereiden en toedienen van medicatie volgens voorschrift en geldende procedures
  • Observeren en opvolgen van de fysieke, psychische en psychosociale toestand van bewoners
  • Signaleren van veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand en correct rapporteren
  • Meewerken aan en uitvoeren van het verpleegplan
  • Correct registreren van zorg en observaties in het (elektronisch) zorgdossier
  • Verlenen van palliatieve zorg en begeleiding bij het levenseinde
  • Informeren en ondersteunen van bewoners en hun familie
  • Onthaal en begeleiding van nieuwe bewoners
  • Ondersteunen bij dagelijkse verzorging, comfort, eten en drinken
  • Geven van aanwijzingen en instructies aan zorgkundigen
  • Daarnaast kan je, in overleg met je leidinggevende, deelnemen aan werkgroepen (zoals dementie, palliatieve zorg, valpreventie of voeding) of optreden als referentiepersoon voor een bepaald thema.

Wij zoeken een gemotiveerde Basisverpleegkundige die zich herkent in volgend profiel:

  • Je beschikt over een diploma basisverpleegkundige (of bent afstuderend)
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar functioneert ook sterk in teamverband
  • Je bent contactvaardig en hebt een warm hart voor bewoners en hun familie
  • Je communiceert vlot en beschikt over goede luistervaardigheden
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel
  • Je bent flexibel en kan je aanpassen aan veranderende situaties
  • Je draagt klantgerichtheid en kwaliteit van zorg hoog in het vaandel
  • Je hebt kennis van en respect voor hygiëne- en infectiepreventiemaatregelen
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands en/of Frans, afhankelijk van de ligging van het woonzorgcentrum Ervaring is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
