Tijdens de opleiding tot helpende zorg en welzijn leer je vaardigheden die belangrijk zijn binnen jouw functie, zoals het begeleiden van mensen bij hun dagelijkse verzorging, voeding en sociale contacten. Je volgt één dag per week lessen op school die te maken hebben met het beroep en je krijgt ook Nederlands en rekenen. Daarnaast volg je loopbaan & burgerschap. Je maakt opdrachten op school en tijdens je werk. De studie bestaat uit een algemeen basisdeel, een profieldeel en twee keuzedelen. Het profieldeel is gericht op de werkomgeving van helpende zorg en welzijn. Tijdens je studie word je op school begeleid door een studieloopbaanbegeleider (slb-er) en tijdens je werk door een werkbegeleider en/of een praktijkbegeleider.Je gaat naast je schooldag van 8 uur, 18,5 uur per week werken binnen een verpleeghuis. Na het doorlopen van de opleiding heb je het landelijk erkende helpende zorg en welzijn diploma in bezit. Ook vragen wij een korte toelichting waarom je de opleiding graag wilt volgen.
