Je start de dag vanuit je vertreklocatie of loopt naar jouw afdeling binnen het verpleeghuis. Er is een overdrachtsmoment, zodat jij precies weet wat er speelt bij de cliënten waar je zorg aan biedt. Samen met jouw werkbegeleider leer je hoe je dagelijkse zorg en zorg op maat aan de cliënten biedt. Dit doe je door goed naar hen en de betrokkenen te luisteren en ondersteun je bij het uitvoeren van de taken die de cliënten zelf kunnen. Zo help je hen zelf de regie te houden. Je gaat 22,5 uur per week werken binnen een verpleeghuis of binnen de thuiszorg . Je maakt veel uren op de werkvloer en kunt daardoor steeds zelfstandiger werken. Je gaat één dag per week naar school waarvan je 5,5 uur krijgt uitbetaald. De lessen die je volgt zijn o.a. het ondersteunen van cliënten bij hun persoonlijke verzorging en diverse theorielessen zoals Nederlands, rekenen en het vak loopbaan & burgerschap. Albeda Zorgcollege is onze vaste samenwerkingspartner. Om deze reden is het niet mogelijk om via een andere onderwijsinstelling in het BBL traject te stappen. Ook vragen wij een korte toelichting waarom je de opleiding graag wilt volgen. Waarom werken bij Laurens? Bij Laurens is geen dag hetzelfde.
