Bediende Douane & Expeditie

FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Als bediende douane en expeditie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige administratieve en operationele afhandeling van douanedocumenten. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het vlot laten verlopen van import-, export- en transitstromen via verschillende transportmodi (schip, barge, trein en truck), inclusief de organisatie van vervolgtransporten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkhedenOperaties

  • Opstellen, controleren en verwerken van douanedocumenten
  • Administratieve opvolging en communicatie met klanten en interne diensten
  • Opmaken, beheren en afsluiten van douanedossiers
  • Inplannen en coördineren van transport voor eindklanten
  • Voorbereiden van operationele werkzaamheden voor de komende dagen
  • Proactief anticiperen op en oplossen van operationele uitdagingen
  • Coördinatie met interne en externe partijen voor het blokkeren en vrijgeven van goederen

Veiligheid

  • Actief bijdragen aan een veilige werkomgeving voor jezelf en collega’s
  • Naleven van alle veiligheidsvoorschriften (incl. dragen van PPE op terminals)
  • Veiligheid steeds centraal stellen bij operationele beslissingen

Communicatie

  • Zorgen voor duidelijke, vlotte en professionele communicatie (mondeling en schriftelijk)
  • Proactieve afstemming met interne afdelingen en leidinggevenden
  • Tijdige en klantgerichte communicatie naar klanten

Algemeen

  • Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht werken
  • Inzicht tonen in jouw rol binnen het grotere logistieke proces
  • Initiatief nemen voor procesverbeteringen
  • Actief meewerken aan efficiëntie- en optimalisatieprojecten

PROFIEL Kennis & vaardigheden

  • Talen: Nederlands (vloeiend) Engels (goede kennis, zowel gesproken als geschreven) Extra talen zijn een plus
  • IT: Goede kennis van MS Office (Excel, Outlook) Vlot werken met diverse IT-systemen Bereidheid om bedrijfsspecifieke software aan te leren Ervaring met douanesoftware is een plus
  • Douanekennis: Opleiding in douane of gelijkwaardige ervaring Kennis van AEO, CBAM, FAVV en quota is een sterke troef
  • AchtergrondErvaring in de logistieke sector als douanedeclarant Ervaring in regio Gent is een plus In het bezit van een rijbewijs Blanco bewijs van goed gedrag en zeden
