FUNCTIE OMSCHRIJVING

Ben jij een ervaren douaneprofessional met een hands-on mentaliteit én leiderschapskwaliteiten? Wil je werken in een dynamische havenomgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is? Dan is deze uitdaging op jouw maat!

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Bediende Douane & Expeditie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige afhandeling van douanedossiers en transportplanning, gecombineerd met het aansturen van een klein team.

Operationeel:

  • Opstellen, controleren en verwerken van douanedocumenten (import, export en transit)
  • Beheren en opvolgen van volledige douanedossiers van A tot Z
  • Inplannen en coördineren van transport (schip, barge, trein en truck)
  • Proactief voorbereiden van de operationele planning (huidige en volgende dagen)
  • Nauwe samenwerking met interne en externe stakeholders (terminals, klanten, diensten)
  • Coördineren van blokkeringen en vrijgaven van goederen
  • Aansturen en begeleiden van 2 douaneagenten
  • Opvolgen en ondersteunen bij complexe dossiers en klantenvragen
  • Toezien op een correcte en tijdige facturatie van douanediensten

Communicatie:

  • Zorgen voor een vlotte, professionele en klantgerichte communicatie
  • Proactieve afstemming met interne afdelingen en leidinggevenden
  • Tijdige communicatie naar klanten omtrent dossiers en transport

Algemeen:

  • Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht werken
  • Actief meedenken over optimalisaties en procesverbeteringen
  • Initiatief nemen om efficiëntie en werking te verbeteren

PROFIEL

Kennis & vaardigheden:

  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk)
  • Extra talen zijn een plus
  • Vlot met MS Office (Excel, Outlook) en diverse IT-systemen
  • Ervaring met douanesoftware
  • Kennis van douanewetgeving en processen (AEO, CBAM, FAVV, quota)

Ervaring & achtergrond:

  • Ervaring als douanedeclarant is een must
  • Ervaring in een havenomgeving is een sterke troef
  • In het bezit van een rijbewijs
  • Blanco attest van goed gedrag en zeden

  • Sterk organisatorisch en administratief onderlegd
  • Hands-on en oplossingsgericht
  • Communicatief sterk (intern en extern)
