Drie afdelingen, één ding is zeker: vervelen doe je je hier niet

Geen dag waarop je urenlang exact hetzelfde staat te doen. Afhankelijk van de planning draai je mee in verschillende onderdelen van de beenhouwerij. Bovendien hoef je nauwelijks uit te benen: slechts uitzonderlijk komt er een varkensrug of rundscarré binnen.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Het vakkundig versnijden en verwerken van kip
  • Het versnijden, prikken en portioneren van rood vlees
  • Het maken van verschillende vleesbereidingen volgens vaste recepten
  • Het bereiden van onder andere worsten, hamburgers, préparé, blinde vinken en boomstammetjes
  • Het kruiden en marineren van verschillende vleessoorten
  • Werken op maat van horecaklanten aan de hand van duidelijke productiebonnen
  • Waar nodig meehelpen met het verpakken van producten
  • Afwisselen tussen verschillende taken en afdelingen, waardoor je werkdag gevarieerd blijft

Wanneer werk je?

Je start doorgaans rond 4u30 à 5u en bent rond de middag alweer klaar. Op zaterdag werk je maximaal tot ongeveer 9u à 10u. Omdat je op zaterdag werkt, krijg je tijdens de week een vrije dag. Wil je graag extra uren presteren, dan kunnen die bijkomende uren opgespaard worden als verlof.

Je komt terecht in een ruime beenhouwerij met een twintigtal beenhouwers en productiemedewerkers, verdeeld over drie afdelingen: gevogelte, rood vlees en bereidingen. Van worsten, hamburgers en préparé tot blinde vinken, boomstammetjes en gemarineerd vlees: hier wordt dagelijks een breed assortiment klaargemaakt voor verschillende klanten.
