Elke dag opnieuw geef je jongeren de kans om te groeien, nieuwe mogelijkheden te ontdekken en sterker in het leven te staan. Met jouw aanwezigheid, geduld en betrokkenheid bied je houvast wanneer dat nodig is. Je bent er op moeilijke momenten, maar evengoed om samen kleine en grote successen te vieren.

Voor onze leefgroep Jade, gecombineerd met kamertraining op campus Kristus Koning, zoeken we een enthousiaste begeleider die met warmte, vertrouwen en professionaliteit wil bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van jongeren met een licht verstandelijke beperking, vaak in combinatie met ASS, ADHD, hechtingsproblematiek of andere ontwikkelings- en emotionele kwetsbaarheden. Vanuit een positieve en respectvolle basishouding help je jongeren groeien naar meer zelfstandigheid en een betekenisvolle toekomst.

Jouw rol:

Je komt terecht in een gemengde leefgroep voor jongeren vanaf 14 jaar. Binnen een veilige en voorspelbare omgeving ondersteun je jongeren in hun ontwikkeling naar meer zelfstandigheid, zelfvertrouwen en sociale vaardigheden. Daarnaast begeleid je jongeren in de kamertraining, waar zij stap voor stap leren om zelfstandiger te wonen en verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen. Samen met je collega's:

creëer je een positief leefklimaat waarin jongeren zich veilig, gezien en gewaardeerd voelen:

bied je structuur, duidelijkheid en voorspelbaarheid, afgestemd op de individuele ondersteuningsvraag;

werk je kracht- en vraaggericht, met oog voor de talenten en mogelijkheden van elke jongere;

begeleid je jongeren in hun dagelijkse leven en ondersteun je hen in het aanleren van praktische, sociale en emotionele vaardigheden;

stimuleer je jongeren om stap voor stap meer verantwoordelijkheid en zelfstandigheid op te nemen;

bouw je een professionele vertrouwensrelatie op waarin nabijheid en duidelijke grenzen hand in hand gaan;

werk je constructief samen met ouders, netwerkpartners en collega's;

kijk je verder dan het gedrag en probeer je de onderliggende hulpvraag en behoefeten van de jongere te begrijpen;

denk je actief mee na over de verdere uitbouw van onze pedagogische werking. Jouw aanwezigheid maakt elke dag opnieuw het verschil. Door verbinding te maken, vertrouwen te geven en te geloven in wat jongeren wél kunnen, help je hen groeien naar een toekomst waarin ze hun eigen mogelijkheden maximaal kunnen benutten. Je voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar mensen centraal staan. Daarnaast:

beschik je over een sociaal-agogisch of mensgericht diploma, of heb je relevante ervaring binnen de sector;

werk je met een warm hart en een zorgzame ingesteldheid;

communiceer je open, respectvol en verbindend;

ben je flexibel inzetbaar voor ochtend-, avond- en weekenddiensten;

is een rijbewijs een pluspunt maar geen vereiste;

deel je jouw kennis met begeleiders en andere betrokken collega's;

neem je deel aan overlegmomenten en denk je actief mee over kwaliteitsverbetering;

bouw je vanuit jouw expertise bruggen tussen therapie en dagelijkse begeleiding.
