The posting

Als begeleider werk je met kinderen en jongeren met een disharmonisch ontwikkelingsprofiel, waarbij vaak sprake is van hechtingsproblematiek en andere bijkomende problematiek. Deze problematiek kan zich uiten in moeilijk verstaanbaar gedrag, waaronder agressie gericht op objecten en soms op begeleiders. Het signaleren, begrijpen en ombuigen van dit gedrag is een essentieel onderdeel van je dagelijkse werk.

Je biedt structuur, veiligheid en nabijheid in het dagelijks leven van de kinderen en jongeren. Je werkt volgens een 24-uurscyclus en zorgt samen met je collegas voor rust, voorspelbaarheid en een vertrouwde leefomgeving. Hierbij werk je consequent volgens de principes van lage emotionele expressie lage (EE).

In de begeleiding maak je gebruik van ondersteunende communicatiemiddelen zoals pictos, gebaren en dagprogrammas. De begeleiding vindt plaats binnen de woonomgeving, maar ook tijdens ontwikkelingsgerichte dagbesteding en vrijetijdsbesteding.

Je draait onregelmatige diensten (vroege en late diensten) en gemiddeld drie slaapdiensten per maand. Je werkt in een warme, kindvriendelijke en huiselijke setting, volledig ingericht op veiligheid, ontwikkeling en spel. Een omgeving waar ruimte is voor intensieve begeleiding, waar kinderen zich in hun eigen tempo mogen ontwikkelen en waar jij met jouw professionaliteit daadwerkelijk het verschil maakt.
