Voor een gemeentelijke organisatie in Zeeland zoeken wij een Begeleider Nieuwkomers voor de Oekraïne-opvang. In deze afwisselende functie begeleid je Oekraïense nieuwkomers in hun dagelijkse leven en help je hen stap voor stap om zelfstandig hun weg te vinden in Nederland en de regio. Ben jij sociaal, betrokken en weet je mensen op een respectvolle manier te ondersteunen? Dan maken we graag kennis met je. Wat ga je doen? Als Begeleider Nieuwkomers ben je een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor bewoners van de opvanglocatie. Je ondersteunt hen bij uiteenlopende praktische en sociale vragen en draagt bij aan een veilige, prettige en leefbare woonomgeving. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Voeren van intakegesprekken met nieuwe bewoners; - Registreren van nieuwe bewoners; - Begeleiden en ondersteunen van bewoners in het dagelijks leven; - Stimuleren van zelfredzaamheid; - Informeren en adviseren over praktische zaken; - Onderhouden van contacten met verschillende instanties en organisaties; - Doorverwijzen naar de juiste hulp- en dienstverleningsorganisaties; - Toezien op een veilige, leefbare en prettige woonomgeving. Je werkt samen met een betrokken en hecht team, waarin collega's elkaar ondersteunen en samenwerking centraal staat. Wie ben jij? Je bent sociaal, toegankelijk en weet gemakkelijk contact te maken met mensen uit verschillende culturen. Je blijft rustig in uiteenlopende situaties en hebt oog voor de behoeften van bewoners, zonder daarbij de praktische kant uit het oog te verliezen. Daarnaast beschik je over: - Een afgeronde mbo-opleiding niveau 4; - Minimaal 2 jaar aantoonbare werkervaring met woonbegeleiding en opvang van vreemdelingen of nieuwkomers; - Ervaring met interculturele communicatie; - Goede communicatieve vaardighe...
