Jij streeft ernaar om de best passende zorg te bieden aan jouw bewoners. Omgaan met gedrags- en emotionele problematiek zie jij als een extra uitdaging. Dit ga jij doen

Als begeleider van ongeveer 10 bewoners met bijkomende gedrags- en emotionele problemen zoek je mee naar de betekenis van hun gedrag. Hierbij hou je steeds rekening met het verschil tussen hun kunnen en aankunnen. Daarnaast:

  • Zorg jij voor de dagelijkse verzorging, een kwalitatieve dagbesteding en een goede observatie.
  • Stem jij je aanpak af op het emotioneel welbevinden van onze bewoners. Dat wil zeggen dat je hen sturing geeft en helpt om prikkels te reguleren, maar ook dat je nabijheid biedt zodat ze zich geborgen voelen.
  • Leer je moeilijk gedrag te begrenzen en leer je werken met specifieke veiligheidstechnieken waarbij veiligheid en humaniteit centraal staan. We hechten veel belang aan overleg, waarbij we aan de hand van signaleringsplannen stilstaan bij de noden van zowel de cliënt als de begeleider om moeilijke situaties te vermijden en/of goed te verwerken.
  • Ben je, samen met jouw collega’s, verantwoordelijk voor de administratie en het huishouden in jouw leefgroep. Zo plaats je bijvoorbeeld bestellingen bij de logistieke diensten (keuken, technische dienst, economaat) en ondersteun je je leidinggevende waar nodig (budgetbeheer, coördinatie van vervoer).
  • Heb jij een open blik en signaleer je problemen en nieuwe inzichten.
  • Ben jij de schakel in het sociale netwerk (ouders, familie of wettelijke vertegenwoordiger).

Dit ben jij

  • Je hebt een TSO-diploma in Jeugd- en Gehandicaptenzorg, Bachelor in de Orthopedagogie, sociale readaptatiewetenschappen of een soortgelijk diploma.
  • Je hebt een grote passie en empathie voor onze unieke bewoners en hun zorgvraag.
  • Je focus ligt steeds op een positieve relatie en je houdt sterk rekening met individuele beperkingen en groeikansen.
  • Je bent een vat vol structuur, doorzettingsvermogen en creatieve oplossingen.
  • Zelfstandig werken doe je graag, maar ook in teamwork blink je uit.
  • Je gaat diplomatisch om met stressvolle situaties en maakt alles bespreekbaar.
  • Je gaat soepel om met veranderingen binnen je afdeling, want geen elke dag is bij ons hetzelfde. Je houdt van die afwisseling en van de verantwoordelijkheid om zorgverlening op maat te garanderen.
  • Je leert dan ook graag bij en staat open voor bijscholing.
  • Je bent bereid om ook op avonden, feestdagen en in het weekend te werken.
