The posting

Het woonzorgcentrum Hof van Egmont, gelegen in het hart van Mechelen, wil een warme thuis zijn voor de bewoners. In nauwe verbondenheid met de buurt, mantelzorgers en vrijwilligers vertrekken we steeds vanuit het unieke levensverhaal van elke bewoner.

De medewerkers delen één gezamenlijke droom: elke bewoner elke dag een fijne dag bezorgen.

Jouw rol als begeleider wonen en leven

  • Je begeleidt bewoners van je woonafdeling bij het vormgeven van hun dagelijks leven in het woonzorgcentrum. Daarbij vertrek je steeds vanuit hun levensverhaal, wensen en noden.
  • Samen met de bewoner, zijn netwerk en het team creëer je een leefomgeving waarin de bewoner zich gewaardeerd voelt en zoveel mogelijk de regie behoudt.
  • Je inspireert collega’s in het uitbouwen van een warme en huiselijke woonomgeving. Via vertrouwde huishoudelijke activiteiten betrek je bewoners en stimuleer je ontmoeting.
  • Je organiseert en begeleidt activiteiten, met oog voor elke bewoner van de woonafdeling, en werkt mee aan enkele overkoepelende initiatieven.
  • Je sensibiliseert het interdisciplinair team om wonen en leven structureel te verankeren in de dagelijkse werking en overlegmomenten.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je hebt een warm hart voor ouderen en voelt hun leefwereld goed aan. Ervaring met ouderen en animatie is een pluspunt.
  • Je neemt initiatief en kan inschatten wanneer je zelfstandig werkt en wanneer samenwerking nodig is.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig.
  • Je bent een echte bruggenbouwer: je voelt mensen aan, weet te verbinden en te enthousiasmeren.
  • Je ben een teamspeler en kan collega’s van het zorgteam inspireren en coachen en afstemmen en overleggen met het team begeleider wonen & leven
  • Je bewaart rust en overzicht, ook in uitdagende situaties.
  • Je beschikt over goede pc-vaardigheden.
  • Je hebt een diploma hoger secundair onderwijs en bent bereid om bijkomende opleidingen te volgen.
