We zijn een dynamisch sociale organisatie in volle groei. Voor onze afdeling Wonen volwassenen zijn we op zoek naar een begeleider voor onze leefgroep Toekomst 2.

Kernopdracht

Zorgen voor onze cliënten in het leven van alledag. Elke dag, avond, weekend en nacht opnieuw het beste van jezelf geven samen met je collega’s. Cliënten en collega’s laten groeien en bloeien, en mocht het wel eens tegenzitten dan blijf je communiceren. Jouw open houding is daarom heel belangrijk in deze job. Je hebt een boon voor volwassenen met een licht tot matige mentale beperking. Je begeleidt onze bewoners naar een zo groot mogelijke zelfstandigheid op materieel, sociaal en persoonlijk vlak. Dit gebeurt zoals in overleg werd overeengekomen in de begeleidingsovereenkomst.

Doelgroep

Woonhuis voor 12 bewoners met een mentale beperking en mogelijk bijkomende psychische problemen. De daginvulling wordt uitgewerkt via tewerkstelling, begeleid werken, dagbestedingsactiviteiten of een intern aanbod.

Hier herken je jezelf in

  • Bachelor met pedagogische, sociale of paramedische oriëntatie, of gelijkgesteld door ervaring.
  • Je bent een enthousiaste en gedreven collega die zelfstandig kan werken.
  • Je bezit (orthopedagogische) kennis in verband met de doelgroep en hebt bij voorkeur ervaring in het begeleiden van volwassenen met een beperking.
  • Je werkt emancipatorisch en cliëntgericht, beschikt over een groot inlevingsvermogen en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Kennis van de sociale wetgeving m.b.t. personen met een handicap.
  • Bereidheid tot onregelmatige prestaties (weekendwerk, avondwerk, nachtdiensten).
