Dit ga je doen… Elke werkdag is zo anders! Iedere mens is anders, jij stemt daarom jouw handelen af op de behoefte van de bewoners. Je bent nieuwsgierig naar de mogelijkheden van de bewoner en onderzoekt hoe je hem of haar zoveel mogelijk eigen regie kan geven. Je begeleidt je bewoner en stelt doelen. Indien gewenst betrek je de naasten. Ook help je de bewoner in het contact met medebewoners. Groepsdynamiek vind je interessant, conflictsituaties ervaar je als een uitdaging. Uitvoeren van verzorgende ADL taken vind je vanzelfsprekend.

Dit zijn wij… Je komt te werken in een groot maar huiselijk woonbegeleidingscentrum met bewoners met niet aangeboren hersenletsel. Onze focus ligt op lichamelijke verzorging en begeleiding. Werken bij ons is iedere dag weer anders. Maar er zijn natuurlijk wel werkzaamheden die iedere dag terugkomen, denk hierbij aan het geven van ADL zorg (= Algemeen Dagelijkse Levensverrichtingen). We werken in een systeem van wisselende shiften (dag, avond en nacht). Heb je een voorkeur voor nachtdiensten? Laat het zeker weten in je sollicitatie.

Dit ben jij… (onze vereisten) Wij stellen liever geen eisen, maar aan een enkeling ontkomen we niet. Wij vinden passie voor het vak en hart voor mensen met hersenletsel het allerbelangrijkste. Maar een diploma is wel vereist. Voor deze functie heb je een Belgisch diploma zorgkundige, verpleegkundige of orthopedagogie nodig.

Dit ben jij ook… (onze wensen) Jij bent iemand met een goed gevoel voor humor, die zelfstandig kan werken. En het allerbelangrijkste: jij kunt je inleven in de situatie van een ander. Met name van onze bewoners, maar ook van collega’s. Je neemt graag de touwtjes in handen, maar kunt ook goed samenwerken met collega’s. Jij legt de focus op de persoon en niet op de beperking! Je komt al heel ver als je hart op de juiste plek zit, als je inlevingsvermogen toont, humor hebt en een positieve instelling. Het allerbelangrijkste is dat je interesse hebt in werken met bewoners met niet aangeboren hersenletsel en dat je daarnaast bereid bent om vakinhoudelijke zaken te leren.
