We zoeken een collega voor het verblijf van de jongensafdeling van Siemkensheuvel.

Siemkensheuvel is 1 van de 6 zorgunits van Covida.

In de jongensafdeling begeleiden we jongens, 13 jaar tot 21 jaar, met een lichte of matige verstandelijke beperking en/of met gedrags- of emotionele stoornissen, die (tijdelijk) nood hebben aan een vervangende woon- of leefsituatie.

Je biedt ondersteuning aan onze kinderen tijdens de week, weekends en vakanties. Daarnaast heb je een aantal administratieve en huishoudelijke taken te vervullen.

Samen met je collega's ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • De orthopedagogische hulpverlening/begeleiding van het kind: We willen de kinderen tot maximale zelfontplooiing begeleiden door hen structuur en basisveiligheid te bieden, het stimuleren van zelfredzaamheid en zelfstandigheid, bijbrengen van sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Leiding geven aan en begeleiden van de kinderen in leefgroepsverband.
  • Het aanbieden en uitwerken van activiteiten op maat tijdens één-op-één contacten of in kleine groepjes
  • Leefgroepsgebonden logistieke taken.
  • Uitvoeren van administratieve aangelegenheden met betrekking tot de leefgroep.

We hechten veel belang aan de onderlinge samenwerking waarin ieder zichzelf kan zijn en ruimte krijgt om zijn/haar vaardigheden te gebruiken en te ontwikkelen.

  • Je hebt een diploma in de orthopedagogie (bachelor, graduaat of jeugd- en gehandicaptenzorg via het verder gezet onderwijs).
  • Je bent creatief en flexibel om steeds tegemoet te komen aan de specifieke zorgvragen.
  • Je kan goed zelfstandig werken, maar toch ook een sterke teamspeler zijn.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en sterk in structureren en organiseren .
  • Je beschikt over voldoende relativeringsvermogen en bent positief ingesteld.
  • Je bent contact- en communicatievaardig.
  • Kennis van emancipatorisch werken en contextuele hulpverlening is een meerwaarde.
  • Je bent administratief vaardig.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs, een eigen wagen en bent bereid deze te gebruiken in dienstverband.
