The posting

Je wordt tewerkgesteld in de Meidoorn te Hasselt. Hier wonen personen met een aangeboren en niet-aangeboren fysieke en/of bijkomende beperking. Samen met je enthousiast team zorg je voor 15 cliënten. We bieden een veilige en ondersteunende omgeving waarin cliënten de zorg en begeleiding krijgen die ze nodig hebben. Wij zijn op zoek naar een zorgzame en proactieve begeleider om ons team te versterken.

Functieomschrijving:

Als begeleider ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

- Pedagogische ondersteuning: je hebt aandacht voor onze cliënten hun hulpvraag en biedt hier een realistisch antwoord op. Je draagt ​​bij aan het organiseren van de vrije tijd die speciaal is afgestemd op onze cliënten.

- Lichamelijke verzorging: je biedt de noodzakelijke zorg die de cliënt nodig heeft, hulp tijdens een toiletbezoek, aan- en uitkleden, hygiënische zorg toepassen,…

- Medische ondersteuning: je gaat in dialoog met verpleging, medische dienst en paramedici om de cliënt de juiste zorg te bieden. Je hebt een signalerende functie, wat betekent dat je alert moet zijn op veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand van cliënten en deze tijdig moet doorgeven aan de verpleging en/of medische dienst.

- Huishoudelijke taken: je neemt huishoudelijke taken op je zoals wassen, strijken, rolstoelen kuisen, orde en netheid in de leefruimtes,…

- Administratieve taken: observaties noteren in ons programma zorgonline.

- Intern overleg: Actief deelnemen aan interne overlegmomenten om de zorg en begeleiding continu te verbeteren en af te stemmen met je collega’s.

- Je hebt een diploma in de sociale sector of zorgsector (Bv. jeugd- en gehandicaptenzorg, zorgkundige, verpleegkundige) of een vergelijkbare opleiding.

- Ervaring met tilliften, sondevoeding, blaassonde en PEG- sonde is een pluspunt.

- Je bent een teamspeler, flexibel, verantwoordelijk en kan zelfstandig werken.

- Je staat open voor veranderende situaties en kunt je hieraan aanpassen.

- Je denkt creatief en komt met vernieuwende oplossingen en originele ideeën.

- Je blijft doelmatig handelen en kalm in stressvolle situaties.

- Je speelt proactief in op sociaalmenselijke aspecten, zowel bij de zorg voor cliënten als in de samenwerking met collega’s.

- Je drukt je duidelijk, correct en begrijpelijk uit, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
