In deze functie werk je aan het behoud en de ontwikkeling van bomen en groen, waarbij je jouw expertise inzet voor zowel dagelijks beheer als uitdagende projecten. Jouw uitdaging Je speelt een belangrijke rol in het beheer en de ontwikkeling van het bomenbestand binnen de gemeente. Je vertaalt beleid naar de dagelijkse praktijk en zorgt ervoor dat bomen en groen op een deskundige en toekomstgerichte manier worden beheerd. Je combineert daarbij je rol als beheerder met die van toezichthouder. Met jouw expertise werk je samen met collega s, adviseurs en andere betrokkenen en draag je bij aan mooie en duurzame projecten. Beheer van bomen Toezicht op bomen en groen Naast het beheer van bomen is ook toezicht op bomen en groen een belangrijke taak. Je bent zichtbaar in de praktijk en houdt oog voor de kwaliteit van het werk. Je werkzaamheden zijn afwisselend en brengen je in contact met verschillende collega s, aannemers en andere betrokken partijen. Dit zijn wij Je komt terecht in het team Civiele Techniek, Groen en Spelen, onderdeel van de afdeling Stadsbeheer. Samen met ongeveer 25 collega's werken we iedere dag aan een veilige, duurzame en aantrekkelijke openbare ruimte in Zoetermeer. We kijken verder dan onze eigen vakgebieden, delen kennis en werken integraal samen aan de uitdagingen van vandaag en morgen. De sfeer binnen het team is open en collegiaal.
