Als beheerder openbare verlichting zorg jij ervoor dat inwoners, ondernemers en bezoekers veilig en prettig gebruik kunnen maken van de openbare ruimte. Van de boulevard tot woonwijken en van fietspaden tot bedrijventerreinen: als beheerder zorg jij voor een goed verlichte gemeente. Zet jij jouw technische kennis in om Noordwijk te laten stralen? Wat ga je doen? Als beheerder openbare verlichting zorg je ervoor dat inwoners, bezoekers en weggebruikers kunnen rekenen op een veilige en goed verlichte openbare ruimte. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijks beheer en onderhoud van de openbare verlichting binnen de gemeente. Denk hierbij aan straatverlichting langs wegen, fiets- en wandelpaden, verlichting op pleinen en parkeerterreinen en lichtmasten in woonwijken en bedrijventerreinen. Je coördineert de werkzaamheden van onze onderhoudsaannemer(s) en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor alles wat met openbare verlichting te maken heeft. Wanneer bijvoorbeeld een lichtmast is aangereden, een armatuur defect raakt of een complete straat zonder verlichting zit, zorg jij ervoor dat meldingen snel worden opgepakt en opgelost. Je bewaakt de planning, kwaliteit en gemaakte afspraken en spreekt aannemers hierop aan wanneer dat nodig is. Naast het beheer vanuit kantoor ben je regelmatig buiten te vinden. Af en toe vinden werkzaamheden plaats in de avonduren, wanneer het donker is (uiteraard kun je deze uren compenseren). Je controleert uitgevoerde werkzaamheden, beoordeelt de kwaliteit van het onderhoud en kijkt of installaties veilig en volgens afspraak functioneren.
