In het kort: Je gaat het college adviseren over economische vraagstukken, beleid ontwikkelen voor een sterke lokale economie, besluitvorming voorbereiden en als aanspreekpunt samenwerken met ondernemers, gebiedsteam en regionale partners rond de binnenstad en markt. Organisatie De gemeente IJsselstein is een stad in het zuidwesten van de provincie Utrecht. De stad telt ruim 33.000 inwoners en heeft een gezellig historisch hart waar de inwoners trots op zijn. De ambtelijke organisatie van de gemeente (GIJS) bestaat uit ruim 250 medewerkers verdeeld over 7 teams. GIJS werkt aan een bloeiend en toekomstbestendig IJsselstein, waar iedereen prettig kan wonen, werken en samenleven. GIJS staat voor betrouwbare dienstverlening, een benaderbare organisatie en heldere communicatie. De ambtenaren werken vanuit drie kernwaarden: vakmanschap, pragmatisch en samenspel. Samen met en voor ‘ons stadje’. Opdracht De gemeente IJsselstein blijft zicht op economisch vlak doorontwikkelen. Voor het aankomende (half) jaar staan er diverse zaken op de planning waar een beleidsmedewerker Economische Zaken wordt gezocht. Als beleidsmedewerker Economische Zaken adviseer jij het college op diverse en uiteenlopende economische onderwerpen die bijdragen aan een sterke economie in IJsselstein. Je bent het aanspreekpunt binnen de gemeente, maar ook bij de stakeholders in de stad. Zo geef je advies bij ruimtelijke vraagstukken, bereid je bestuurlijke besluitvorming voor voor de weekmarkt rond de feestdagen, voer je de de verlenging van de BIZ in de binnenstad uit en ben je onderdeel van het gebiedsteam van onze binnenstad. Je denkt bovendien mee over ontwikkelingen binnen de Metropool Regio Utrecht West en weet deze te vertalen naar de mogelijkheden voor IJsselstein en de lokale ondernemers.
