The posting

Lokaal bestuur Schoten, dienst sociale zaken, zoekt een deskundige die onze sociale dienstverlening versterkt, verbindt en naar een hoger niveau tilt. Je zet jouw inhoudelijke expertise, procesmatige ondersteuning en netwerkvaardigheden in om burgers vlot, correct en geïntegreerd te helpen. Je adviseert, signaleert en ondersteunt de beleidsuitvoering – zonder eindverantwoordelijkheid, maar met grote impact op de kwaliteit van onze werking.

Je zet jouw inhoudelijke expertise in om sociale wetgeving correct toe te passen, nieuwe regels te vertalen naar duidelijke interne procedures en maatschappelijk werkers te ondersteunen bij complexe dossiers. Tegelijk bewaak je de kwaliteit van onze werkprocessen door knelpunten te signaleren, risico’s te analyseren en actief mee te werken aan procesoptimalisatie binnen thema’s zoals GMPI, leefloon, subsidiestromen en rapportage.

Vanuit jouw dagelijkse praktijkervaring capteer je maatschappelijke noden, analyseer je signalen uit dossiers, overleg en netwerkcontacten, en koppel je bevindingen terug aan het diensthoofd en beleidsmedewerkers. Je onderbouwt adviezen met data en praktijkinzichten en denkt mee over verbeteracties, beleidsaanpassingen en nieuwe initiatieven.

Daarnaast bouw je actief aan netwerkontwikkeling: je brengt relevante partners in kaart, onderhoudt contacten, fungeert als aanspreekpunt voor externe organisaties en faciliteert structurele samenwerkingen. Je zorgt voor een vlotte afstemming tussen diensten en partners, bevordert geïntegreerde hulpverlening en bewaakt duidelijke afspraken en rolverdeling binnen het sociaal domein.

Tot slot neem je een stevige rol op in overleg en opvolging: je bereidt interne en externe overlegmomenten voor, maakt heldere verslagen en actieplannen, en ziet toe op de uitvoering van gemaakte afspraken. Zo draag je bij aan een transparante, kwaliteitsvolle en goed afgestemde sociale dienstverlening voor alle inwoners van Schoten.

Selectieprocedure:

  1. Preselectie op basis van de aanwervingsvoorwaarden in de week van 19 oktober. Bij meer dan 8 geldige kandidaten vindt er een CV screening plaats op basis van CV en motivatiebrief. We kijken hier naar: Motivatie voor de specifieke functie Relevante ervaring met een beleidsmatige / coördinerende functie Relevante ervaring op een sociale dienst Master in één van de verwachte studierichtingen
  2. Psychotechnische proef tussen 22 en 25 oktober (online)
  3. Verkennende gesprekken op 30 oktober
  4. Thuisopdracht en persoonlijkheidsvragenlijst tussen 30 oktober en 5 november
  5. Selectiegesprek met voorstelling thuisopdracht op 10 november
