Als Besturingstechnicus / OT Engineer in de Rotterdamse industrie werk je op het raakvlak van industriële besturingen en operationele technologie. Je richt je op betrouwbare productieprocessen, goed functionerende PLC-besturingen en de verbinding tussen machines, bedieningssystemen en industriële netwerken. Daarbij combineer je praktisch storingsonderzoek met een systematische aanpak van verbeteringen. Je kijkt niet alleen naar de software, maar ook naar signalen, componenten en communicatie tussen installaties. In de dagelijkse praktijk analyseer je storingen, beoordeel je wijzigingen en help je besturingstechnische problemen structureel op te lossen. Je stemt werkzaamheden af met onderhoud, productie en technische collega's, zodat ingrepen veilig en beheerst verlopen. Ook documentatie, back-ups en versiebeheer horen bij je vak. Je ontwikkelt je verder in PLC-techniek, HMI/SCADA en OT-netwerken, met aandacht voor beschikbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en cybersecurity. Functie-inhoud - Storingen analyseren in PLC-besturingen, I/O, HMI-systemen en industriële communicatie - Besturingssoftware aanpassen, testen en wijzigingen gecontroleerd in bedrijf nemen - OT-netwerken onderzoeken op verbindingsproblemen en beschikbaarheidsrisico's - Back-ups, softwareversies en technische documentatie actueel houden - Verbeteringen uitwerken voor betrouwbaarheid en onderhoudbaarheid van installaties - Werkzaamheden afstemmen met productie en onderhoud, met aandacht voor machineveiligheid Functie-eisen - Technische opleiding op mbo-4- of hbo-niveau, bijvoorbeeld elektrotechniek of industriële automatisering - Praktische ervaring met PLC-besturingen en het analyseren van technische storingen - Kennis van een gangbaar PLC-platform, bijvoorbeeld Siemens TIA Portal - Inzicht in HMI/SCADA, industriële Ethernet-netwerken en protocollen zoals Profinet of Modbus TCP - Elektrotechnische schema's kunnen lezen en signalen systematisch kunnen volgen - Zorgvuldige werkwijze bij softwarewijziging.
