- De Rechtspraak als werkgever - - - - - - - Bestuurder bij het gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden Home / Bestuurder bij het gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden Het gerechtsbestuur is verantwoordelijk voor de algemene leiding, de organisatie en de bedrijfsvoering van het gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden. Tot zijn wettelijke taak behoort het bevorderen van de juridische kwaliteit en uniforme rechtstoepassing. Speerpunten daarbij zijn kwalitatief goed, zorgvuldig, tijdig, begrijpelijk, toegankelijk en maatschappelijk effectief. Het bestuur faciliteert het rechterlijke werk, zorgt dat de organisatie op orde is en zorgt voor een goede werksfeer en een veilig werkklimaat waarin inclusiviteit en diversiteit vanzelfsprekend zijn. Daarnaast levert het bestuur een bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling van de rechtspraak in Nederland. Het bestuur bestaat uit drie leden: een voorzitter, een rechterlijk bestuurslid en een niet-rechterlijk bestuurslid. Jaarlijks legt het bestuur aan de Raad voor de rechtspraak verantwoording af over de resultaten van het gerecht. Je bent en voelt je, samen met je collega-bestuurders, verantwoordelijk voor het functioneren van de rechterlijk ambtenaren en de gerechtsambtenaren, uitgezonderd de inhoud van de rechterlijke beslissingen en het daarmee samenhangende rechterlijke beleid. Het gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden is een zelfstandige organisatie en vormt samen met de andere gerechten (rechtbanken, gerechtshoven en bijzondere colleges) de Nederlandse Rechtspraak. De maatschappij ziet de Rechtspraak als één organisatie. Vanuit die gedachte werk je samen met andere gerechten, andere rechtbank-bestuurders, de Raad voor de Rechtspraak en met ketenpartners, dit laatste vanuit onze eigen onafhankelijke positie. Als niet-rechterlijk bestuurslid bestuur je in nauwe samenwerking met de president en het rechterlijk bestuurslid het gerechtshof Arnhem-Leeuwarden en ben je daarin complementair ten opzichte van de andere bestuursleden.
