Dit ga je doen Als Bestuursadviseur bij Gemeente Schiedam ben jij die verbindende kracht. Jij zorgt ervoor dat bestuurders beschikken over de juiste inzichten, de juiste informatie en de juiste adviezen om weloverwogen keuzes te maken voor inwoners, ondernemers en maatschappelijke partners. In deze rol werk je op het snijvlak van politiek, bestuur en ambtelijke organisatie. Je bent de vaste adviseur van een bestuurder en tegelijkertijd een belangrijke schakel binnen het bredere bestuurlijke netwerk van de gemeente. Geen dag is hetzelfde. De ene ochtend bespreek je een complex dossier met een vakteam, terwijl je later die dag een bestuurder voorbereidt op een collegevergadering of politiek debat. Juist die afwisseling en dynamiek geven jou energie. Je duikt in uiteenlopende vraagstukken binnen zowel het fysieke als het sociale domein. Nieuwe onderwerpen maak je je snel eigen. Je analyseert informatie, brengt verschillende belangen samen en vertaalt complexe vraagstukken naar heldere en goed onderbouwde adviezen. Daarbij kijk je altijd verder dan het dossier van vandaag. Je overziet de bestuurlijke context, signaleert risico's en kansen en denkt vooruit. Een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw werk is het verbinden van mensen. Je bouwt sterke relaties op binnen de organisatie en weet precies wat er speelt. Daardoor fungeer je als sparringpartner voor bestuurders, gemeentesecretaris, management en beleidsmedewerkers. Je helpt informatie te filteren, prioriteiten scherp te krijgen en bestuurlijke besluitvorming soepel te laten verlopen. Daarnaast houd je regie op bestuurlijke processen en planning. Je bewaakt de voortgang van belangrijke dossiers, houdt zicht op politieke gevoeligheden en zorgt ervoor dat bestuurlijke afspraken, moties en toezeg...
