NDSM-werf zoekt een nieuw bestuurslid - kunst en cultuur 28 September 2026 De NDSM-werf staat aan de vooravond van een nieuw hoofdstuk. Veel nieuwe woningen op de NDSM-werf West zijn klaar en de ontwikkeling van de aanpalende gebieden - Overhoeks en Buiksloterham - zijn in een volgende fase beland. Daarmee is de NDSM-werf nog explicieter een onderdeel van de steeds diverser en grotere stad. Dat zorgt voor een nieuwe dynamiek en ambities die zich met name richten op de verbreding van de programmering op het gebied van onder andere buitenkunst, performances, concerten, dans en theater die de stad representeren. Het beoogde bestuurslid van Stichting NDSM-werf: - Is goed bekend met het werkgebied van culturele evenementen in het algemeen en van de rol, organisatie en programmering van (buiten)podia in het bijzonder. - Heeft affiniteit met het werk, doelstellingen en ambities van de Stichting. - Is verbonden met de stad Amsterdam via werk, wonen of op een andere manier. - Is vanuit de eigen kennis en ervaring omtrent het betreffende werkgebied complementair aan het bestuur waarbinnen expliciet ruimte is voor en behoefte aan verschillende inzichten. - Is in staat om ten opzichte van de andere leden van het bestuur en de directie onafhankelijk en kritisch te opereren en waar nodig bij te dragen aan verbinding en zorg te dragen voor besluitvorming in het bestuur. Bestuur Het bestuur van de Stichting NDSM-werf is eindverantwoordelijk voor beleid, activiteiten, financiën en organisatie. De uitvoering en dagelijkse leiding zijn gedelegeerd aan de directie. Het bestuur stuurt de directie aan en is de gesprekspartner van de directie over strategie en beleid. Het bestuur bestaat uit zes personen en komt circa vijf keer per jaar bij elkaar. Er wordt bestuurd op hoofdlijnen, met inachtneming van de eigen verantwoordelijkheden, en met een gepaste afstand tot de werkorganisatie.
