The posting

Jaarlijks komen ongeveer 800 kinderen speelgoed uitzoeken bij Speelstoet. Ruim 5500 kinderen in Arnhem en omgeving wonen in gezinnen die weinig te besteden hebben. Veel van hen kennen Speelstoet nog niet. Daarom zetten we ons de komende jaren in om veel meer gezinnen te bereiken. Dat doen we onder andere met onze nieuwe rijdende winkel (die we in het najaar verwachten aan te schaffen). Onze ambities en plannen bieden nieuwe kansen, maar vragen ook om heldere keuzes op het gebied van organisatie, exploitatie, samenwerking en toekomstbestendigheid. Een van de al gemaakte keuzes hierin is om als bestuur minder uitvoerend te zijn en ons meer te richting op strategie, koers en ondersteuning van de organisatie. Uitgebreide taakomschrijving Als bestuurslid denk je mee over de strategische koers van Speelstoet. Je draagt bij aan de realisatie van de rijdende winkel. Je helpt mee een overgang te maken naar een bestuur dat minder uitvoerend, maar wel betrokken actief is. Dit betekent niet noodzakelijk dat je als bestuurslid helemaal niet uitvoerend actief bent voor de stichting. Er zullen momenten zijn waarop dit voor jou en/of de organisatie wel wenselijk is. Je bent een sparringspartner voor de andere bestuursleden en degenen die de dagelijkse uitvoering van de organisatie verzorgen. Afhankelijk van jouw ervaring en interesse is er ruimte om een specifiek aandachtsgebied op te pakken. Wat voor kennis of vaardigheden zijn nodig? Je voelt je betrokken bij de doelgroep, visie en doelstellingen van Speelstoet; Je denkt graag mee over organisatieontwikkeling en toekomstplannen; Je bent een bestuurslid dat niet op afstand wil staan van de uitvoering; Je bent bereid je netwerk in te zetten voor Speelstoet; Ervaring als bestuurder is niet noodzakelijk.
