Wil jij je ook inzetten voor statushouders in de gemeente De Bilt? En ben jij gemotiveerd om met jouw kennis en ervaring ons bestuur te versterken? In verband met het gefaseerd aflopen van de zittingstermijn van enkele bestuursleden is het bestuur met ingang van 1 september 2026 op zoek naar nieuwe collega's. Wie zijn wij? Steunpunt Vluchtelingen De Bilt is een stichting met de doelstelling om statushouders (vluchtelingen met een verblijfsvergunning) te helpen een nieuw bestaan op te bouwen en te integreren in de gemeente De Bilt. Het bestuur van de stichting bestaat momenteel uit vier (onbezoldigde) vrijwilligers. Als ondersteuning voor de organisatie zijn vier betaalde ondersteunende krachten werkzaam op kantoor. Daarnaast telt de stichting ongeveer 120 vrijwilligers, die als maatschappelijk begeleider, taalcoach of woonbegeleider actief zijn. Afhankelijk van de jaarlijks wisselende instroom, begeleidt het Steunpunt zo'n 80 statushouders per jaar naar een nieuw leven in De Bilt. De stichting werkt in opdracht van en wordt gesubsidieerd door gemeente De Bilt. Het bestuur is verantwoordelijk voor het functioneren van de stichting. Het bestuur formuleert beleid en bewaakt de financiële kaders. Samen met de coördinatoren zorgt zij ervoor dat vrijwilligers hun werk kunnen doen, om de door de overheid opgelegde taakstelling te realiseren. Op kwartaalbasis is er overleg met de verantwoordelijke wethouder en beleidsambtenaar. Ook vindt regelmatig afstemming plaats met regionale partners, om de belangen van de stichting en de statushouders te borgen. Kenmerkend voor ons bestuur is betrokkenheid en een hands-on mentaliteit.
