G ezocht: b e s tu u r s lid f i nanciën We zijn op zoek naar een deskundig en betrokken bestuurslid financiën met een groot hart voor muziektheater. Over de Veenfabriek Veenfabriek maakt muziektheater met hart en ziel. Onder artistieke leiding van Joeri Vos ontstaat een universum waarin theater en muziek moeiteloos samensmelten. Spelend met taal, muziek, eten en techniek zoekt het gezelschap voortdurend naar nieuwe vormen en biedt het frisse perspectieven op grote vragen. De komende jaren laat de Veenfabriek zich inspireren door 'de dwaas': een figuur die onbevangen naar de wereld kijkt. Door overal vragen over te stellen en niets voor lief te nemen, maakt het gezelschap ruimte voor humor en absurditeit als bronnen van inzicht. Deze nieuwsgierige houding drijft de Veenfabriek om zichzelf en het publiek steeds opnieuw uit te dagen. De Veenfabriek heeft voor vier jaar (2025 t/m 2028) subsidie gekregen van het Fonds Podiumkunsten, en werkt hard aan de realisatie van alle plannen. Het bestuur Als bestuurslid bij de Veenfabriek maak je deel uit van een eigenzinnig muziektheatergezelschap, met een stevige basis in Leiden. Het bestuur is compact en werkt onderling goed samen. We zijn bezig met een vernieuwing en verjonging van het bestuur: er is daarbij alle ruimte voor eigen inbreng. Het bestuur komt minimaal vier keer per jaar samen met de artistiek en zakelijk leider van de Veenfabriek (de directie). Het bestuur is gericht op de grote lijn, met oog voor de artistieke vrijheid van de bij de organisatie betrokken kunstenaars. Daarnaast heeft het bestuur een ondersteunende rol: het bevraagt de directie, luistert naar vragen en dilemma's en staat open voor (andere) signalen vanuit de organisatie.
