Seewyn Kunsteducatie is dé plek voor kunstonderwijs in Waadhoeke en Harlingen. Wij geloven dat kunst en cultuur de wereld mooier maken en wij willen een wezenlijke bijdrage leveren aan de vitaliteit van de regio. Bij Seewyn Kunsteducatie is er voor iedereen een breed toegankelijk en laagdrempelig aanbod, is er voor iedereen een plek om deel te nemen en is er voeding voor inspiratie en verdieping. Wij leveren een wezenlijke bijdrage aan de amateurkunst en daarmee de vitaliteit van de gemeenten Waadhoeke en Harlingen, met in totaal ruim 62.000 inwoners. Seewyn Kunsteducatie is erop gericht de volgende doelen te realiseren: • Ontwikkelen en stimuleren van laagdrempelige oriëntatieprogramma's voor diverse doelgroepen. • Het opzetten van een culturele agenda voor de hele regio (Waadhoeke en Harlingen). • Muziek (onderwijs) bereikbaar en laagdrempelig aan te kunnen bieden. Van het bestuur wordt het volgende verwacht: • In staat zijn om samen met de directeur de visie en kaders neer te zetten en te besturen op afstand c.q. hoofdlijnen. • Zelf te opereren zoals de organisatie opereert: onafhankelijk, open, transparant en gericht op samenwerking, verbinden en ontwikkelen. • Daadkrachtig en pragmatisch te zijn; niet bureaucratisch en gericht op resultaat. • Creativiteit: van de gebaande paden af durven te wijken en indien nodig kunnen zoeken naar het derde of vierde alternatief. Het bestuur is ondersteunend aan de doelen en belast met het besturen van de stichting, hetgeen betekent: • Toezicht houden op de realisatie van de missie, visie en doelen van de organisatie. • Vaststellen van de lange termijn strategie van de organisatie. • Vaststelling van het jaarplan, de begroting, het jaarverslag en de jaarrekening. • Toezicht houden op de naleving van...
