NorthGo College Vacature De Raad van Toezicht van de Stichting Openbaar VO Noordwijk (Northgo College) zoekt een betrokken toezichthouder met een financieel profiel. Als inhoudelijk sterke sparringpartner denkt u met enthousiasme mee over de strategische ontwikkeling en continuïteit van de stichting. Voor de rector-bestuurder bent u zowel een onafhankelijk toezichthouder als een waardevol adviespartner. Het Northgo is een openbare school voor MAVO, HAVO en VWO, met ongeveer 1.050 leerlingen. In een open en veilige leeromgeving wordt vanuit het motto "Aandacht brengt je verder" gewerkt aan persoonlijke groei en maatschappelijke vorming. De school is gevestigd in een modern gebouw, centraal in Noordwijk. Het schoolteam laat zich kenmerken door grote inzet en loyaliteit en is altijd volop in beweging. Strategische richting Er ligt voor de komende jaren een inspirerende agenda voor bestuur en schoolleiding vol kansen en vernieuwing. Zo is een breed samengesteld team van start gegaan met het opstellen van een nieuw schoolplan, waarin de ambities van de school voor de komende jaren vorm krijgen en vervolgens tot uitvoering gebracht moeten worden in de praktijk. Ook het verder verankeren van het normenkader Informatiebeveiliging & Privacy (IBP) en de landelijke invoering van de nieuwe examenprogramma's en kerndoelen vragen o.a. aandacht om het onderwijs toekomstbestendiger te maken. Daarnaast bouwt de school verder aan keuzes in profilering, zoals technologie, burgerschap en internationalisering, en aan een duurzaam strategisch HR-beleid. Om de koers van het Northgo College te realiseren en te bewaken, beschikt de school over een betrokken en deskundige Raad van Toezicht. De raad ziet toe op de naleving van wettelijke kaders en de realisatie van de strategische doelen. Ook fungeert de raad als kritisch en constructief klankbord voor de rector-bestuurder en draagt hij bij aan reflectie en koersvastheid. De raad volgt daarbij de Code Goe...
