Welke shifts draaien beveiligers op Schiphol? Miquel Logher · 26 jun 2026 Beveiligers op Schiphol werken in een 24/7-ploegensysteem met vroege, late en nachtdiensten. Een typische werkweek bestaat uit 36 tot 40 uur, verdeeld over verschillende diensten: de vroegdienst (06:00-14:00), de middagdienst (14:00-22:00) en de nachtdienst (22:00-06:00). De roosters worden weken van tevoren bekendgemaakt, zodat beveiligers hun privéleven rond hun werkschema kunnen plannen. Het constante wisselen tussen vroege, late en nachtdiensten zorgt ervoor dat je sociale leven en gezinsactiviteiten voortdurend moeten wijken voor je werkrooster. Je mist verjaardagen, etentjes en weekendplannen omdat je lichaam en je schema nooit in een vast ritme komen. Deze voortdurende aanpassing kost energie en veroorzaakt stress. Plan daarom bewust vaste activiteiten rond je bekende vrije dagen en deel je rooster tijdig met familie en vrienden. Nachtdiensten verstoren je natuurlijke slaapritme en zorgen voor chronische vermoeidheid die doorwerkt in je vrije tijd. Je voelt je voortdurend moe, hebt moeite je te concentreren en je immuunsysteem verzwakt. Dit heeft direct invloed op je prestaties en welzijn. Investeer in goede verduisterende gordijnen, houd ook op vrije dagen een vast slaapschema aan en vermijd cafeïne in de vier uur vóór je geplande slaaptijd.
