Wat doet een binnenvaartbevrachter?

Als bevrachter ben jij de spil tussen klant en schip. Jij zorgt ervoor dat ladingen efficiënt, correct en rendabel worden ingepland.

Concreet betekent dit:

  • Contact onderhouden met klanten en schippers
  • Scheepsruimte zoeken en matchen met ladingen
  • Gekoppelde transporten opvolgen en eventuele vertragingen oplossen
  • Onderhandelen over tarieven en voorwaarden, inclusief opmaak offertes
  • Administratieve opvolging van transportdossiers
  • Marktinformatie opvolgen (vrachten, waterstanden, capaciteit)
  • Transportdocumentatie in elkaar steken (cognossementen, charterpartijen, FCA-documenten, enz.)
  • Toezien op naleving van internationale regelgeving (BW, CMNI, IVTB, …)
  • Adviseren van klanten over efficiënte en kosteneffectieve logistieke oplossingen
  • Duurzame relaties opbouwen binnen de sector, inclusief actief zijn op social media, klanten bezoeken en deelnemen aan events & beurzen

Wie zoeken wij?

Wij zoeken geen jaaaaaarenlange ervaring maar wij zoeken drive!

  • Je weet wat het bevrachten inhoud, kent het één en ander af van de waterwegen in Europa en hebt bij voorkeur al enkele jaren ervaring in de sector.
  • Je bent commercieel ingesteld en communicatief sterk
  • Je kan snel schakelen en houdt van een dynamische omgeving
  • Je denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en kan je uitdrukken in het Frans en Engels
  • Je hebt graag plezier in wat je doet en vindt leuke collega's dus ook belangrijk (want die hebben we!)
