Je hebt graag veel variatie in werkzaamheden en hebt een sterke affiniteit met de binnenvaart. Of ben/was jij schipper en vond je het werk van de bevrachter altijd stiekem erg interessant? Deze opdrachtgever heeft ruim 200 schepen door heel Noordwest-Europa voor haar varen. Dat gaat van kleine tot grote schepen en van korte tot lange reizen met allerlei droge lading vrachten. Met verschillende teams bedienen ze de verschillende marktsegmenten. Dat doen ze al tientallen jaren met veel succes en met een hele sterke loyaliteit van klanten en medewerkers. Het team binnenvaart heeft versterking nodig vanwege een vertrekkend collega die zelf weer gaat varen. Wat ga je doen? Als bevrachter heb je de hele dag contact met schippers en klanten. het is jouw taak om de verschillende ladingen optimaal verdeeld te krijgen opdat zowel klanten als schippers tevreden zijn. Daartoe ben je dagelijks bezig met onderhandelingen, waterstanden, prioriteiten van ladingen en macro-economische ontwikkelingen die van invloed kunnen zijn op het werk. Jij bent flexibel en creatief en zorgt dat de puzzel iedere dag weer rond komt. Doordat je veel kennis hebt van het vaarwegennetwerk, het leven aan boord en de belangen van de klant, kan je goed schakelen en alles in goede banen leiden. Het praktische werk wordt je sterk vergemakkelijkt door een goed functionerend systeem wat ook doorlopend wordt verbeterd met een in-house IT-afdeling.
