Als bijrijder ondersteun je samen met collega’s bij het plaatsen en weghalen van tijdelijke verkeersmaatregelen. Je werkt veel in de buitenlucht en hebt een actieve rol bij het veilig houden van wegen en het soepel laten verlopen van evenementen. Je start de dag met je team en bespreekt de planning, daarna ga je samen op pad in de regio. Een gemiddelde dag bestaat uit het laden van materialen, het rijden naar verschillende locaties en het plaatsen van borden, hekken en signalering. Je werkt nauw samen met ervaren collega’s en leert het vak in de praktijk. Geen dag is hetzelfde: de ene keer help je mee bij een groot evenement, de andere keer bij een omleiding door werkzaamheden. Wil je graag nieuwe dingen leren, vind je het fijn om buiten te werken en ben je klaar om aan te pakken? Sluit je aan bij een team waar hard gewerkt wordt en waar ruimte is voor ontwikkeling.

- Plaatsen en verwijderen van tijdelijke verkeersmaatregelen

- Laden en lossen van materialen en borden

- Controleren van de juiste plaatsing op locatie

- Assisteren bij het omleiden van verkeer

- Samenwerken met collega’s en contact met opdrachtgevers

- Controleren van materiaal en signalering op veiligheid

- Rapporteren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden aan de voorman

- In bezit van rijbewijs B en eigen vervoer

- Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal

- Fysiek in goede conditie

- Bereid om vroeg te beginnen en onregelmatig te werken

- VCA-certificaat (of bereidheid om dit via WerkTalent te behalen)

- Leergierig, teamgericht en aanpakmentaliteit

- Bereidheid om groot rijbewijs (C1, E en code 95) te behalen
