Dan zoeken wij jou! Het team Handhaving openbare orde is onderdeel van het netwerk Openbare ruimte van de samenwerkingsorganisatie (SWO). Voor zowel de gemeente Hoogeveen als voor de gemeente De Wolden leveren we maatwerk. Bouw mee aan de toekomst van stad én platteland. De organisatie bestaat uit een tweehoofdige directie, vijf netwerken (Concern, Informatie, Bestuur, Sociaal en Openbare Ruimte) en daarbinnen diverse teams. De SWO werkt vanuit de sturingsfilosofie. Daarin staan, vanuit onze kernwaarden Vertrouwen, Verbinding en Eigenaarschap (VVE), aandacht voor de mens en sturen op resultaat centraal. Wat ga je doen? Als BOA draag je elke dag bij aan een veilige en leefbare stad en omgeving. Je bent zichtbaar in de openbare ruimte, spreekt mensen op een positieve manier aan en weet conflicten te de escaleren. Je grijpt in wanneer dat nodig is, bijvoorbeeld bij foutparkeren, zwerfafval of verschillende vormen van overlast. Dankzij je kennis van wet- en regelgeving weet je precies wanneer een waarschuwing volstaat en wanneer een boete passend is. Je staat er nooit alleen voor. Je werkt nauw samen met politie, wijkbeheerders en andere partners. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Je houdt preventief toezicht in de openbare ruimte en treedt op bij overtredingen; - Je controleert of inwoners en ondernemers zich houden aan de wet, gemeentelijke verordeningen en vergunningen; - Je pakt meldingen van incidenten op en handelt ze snel en zorgvuldig af; - Je houdt toezicht bij evenementen; - Je werkt nauw samen met je collega Boa's, politie, wijkbeheerders en andere externe partijen; - Je verwerkt processen-verbaal, meldingen en andere administratieve taken zorgvuldig.
