In Zwolle wordt wijkgericht gewerkt. Dat betekent dat je dicht bij inwoners en ondernemers staat en actief contact onderhoudt met onder andere wijkagenten, wijkregisseurs, zorginstellingen, scholen en woningcorporaties. Je komt terecht in het team Toezicht en Handhaving Openbare Ruimte, dat uit ruim 30 medewerkers bestaat. Binnen het team werken onder andere integrale Boa's, stadsdeelboa's, Boa-coördinatoren en jeugdboa's samen aan een veilig en leefbaar Zwolle. De gemeente wil steeds meer de beweging maken van reactief naar proactief werken. Je wacht dus niet alleen tot er een melding binnenkomt, maar kijkt samen met inwoners, collega's en samenwerkingspartners hoe problemen vroegtijdig kunnen worden gesignaleerd én voorkomen. Daarnaast behoren onder andere de volgende verantwoordelijkheden tot jouw functie: - Toezicht en handhaving in de openbare ruimte - Contact leggen en onderhouden met inwoners, ondernemers en samenwerkingspartners in de wijk - Signaleren van problemen en actief zoeken naar oplossingen om overlast en overtredingen zoveel mogelijk te voorkomen - Optreden bij onder andere afvalproblematiek, overlast, gevaarlijke honden en verkeersovertredingen - Fungeren als aanspreekpunt bij verstoringen in de openbare ruimte en voor de Meldkamer - Actief oppakken en oplossen van meldingen - Samenwerken met onder andere stadsdeelboa's, wijkagenten, wijkregisseurs, zorginstellingen, scholen en woningcorporaties - Mensen informeren en overtuigen om gewenst gedrag te stimuleren - Handhavend optreden wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt Binnen deze functie pak je het vak APV-breed op.
